NVIDIA Vs. ATI

What do you guys thing about NVIDA and ATI now?, well before in the 9800XT days, ati was pure ownage, with its 9XXXX range well except for the 9200 :D , the 9800XT was a very powerful card, no matter what NVidia pulls out the 9800XT just seems to eat it up, well i guess the tide has change, in the past year, NVIDIA has seem to come back, they release awesome mid range and top of the line cards, with neat and new features such as SLI and SM 3.0 and now the 7800GTX and the 7800GT is really reigning supreme in the graphic card market and yet we still didn't see any fresh card being release, right now to me it seems like a one sided graphic card market, i really want to see ATI come back and provide so stiff competition in the graphic card market.

What do you guys think?

WTF delusion? Where have you been? Haven't you heard that Matrox owns all!! And the new Diamond Viper V880 Turbo blasts any Nvidia POS card to smithereens!!
 
Oops i forgot to mention about the X*** series, Ati X*** series was mostly junk except for their high end cards such as the X800XT and etc. The mid range section really sucked to be honest, the X700 pro was nothing comparable to Nvidia mid range cards, i just hope ATI would release a range of pretty good mid range card like the Nvidia, the only mid range card that was good from ati are the X800Xl.
 
I wouldn't call ATI's counterparts junk, but i'd call them unreasonably priced because they just couldn't compete in anything that nvidia had.
 
I likes them both. Them both gots good [h]ardware. Me thinks nvidia has the advantage for now but still, uh....yeah, I likes them both.

both companies make great hardware...I use ATI in my desktop and Nvidia in my lappy...Im very happy with both :)

why do you think someone would use the search function? ;).

And on topic...I think it is a shame that people have loyalties to one side or the other. It's not like they are loyal to you. Use whatever is in your price range and is the fastest. That's the way I do it ;). 7800GT for now. Maybe ATI (or even Matrox) next time.
