Damn, I use Reshade with just about every game I play. (DX12 or Vulcan games are not Fully / currently supported)

This would be very very nice AMD, you hear me!

Time to shit or get off the pot already AMD, Nvgreedia is kicking some ass with new driver features.

Anyone else here use Reshade much? What do you think about this ehh?

Not familiar?, check out some game presets / comparison sceenshots - https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/newlist/

Get Reshade - https://reshade.me/

Never really been overly fond of Reshade. I find most of the presets people make look like garbage and don’t feel like taking the time to figure out how to make my own.

I'm excited. I used it for games like Fallout 4 (the built-in AA sucks), but beyond that nothing. Most games have serviceable AA in the game.

I'd be happy for this, as the FXAA option in the Nvidia control panel doesn't offer a sharpen pass (to to fix the blur like most games that use it natively). Reshade gives you SMAA as alternative (no blur).

But yeah, given how complex the interface is, I would only use it for SMAA.

this is not as big of a deal u make it out to be..there are generic versions of re-shade already available.

As long as I don't have to install gefarce experience I'll check it out, otherwise I'll continue using ReShade. I usually create my own profiles for games, just enough to tame gamma; Clarity, Curves, Luma Sharpen, Vibrance and SMAA.

Cool, I use reshade on occasion to give games the "proper" look. Last I remember using it was on Resident Evil 2 remake to make it look closer to the originals.

Would recommend DSR for this use. Downscale from a higher resolution and you'll get implicit anti-aliasing out of it. Was one of the only reasons why I was okay with gaming at 1080P for so long. Not so viable above 1440P, but just thought I'd toss that out there.

DSR doesn't work with my 75hz custom refresh rate. And even though Fallout 4 doesn't like above 60, back when I was first playing Fallout 4, my GTX 960 didn't have the horsepower for `1440p DSR in the game. IT was either keep most of the eye candy cranked at 1080p, or run DSR at medium.

So I installed Reshade, and got SMAA working, and made the game look a lot better, at 1080p.

If I were replaying it today, I'd do 1440p DSR on my 1060...but the game is terrible, so I don 't see it happening anytime soon

In most games we call that a mod. You get similar results with FXX Post Process Injector. Skyrim can also use ENB's.

Yeah, I used to use a hacked shader script to insert FXAA plus sharpening into games (like Borderlands1, where MSAA doesn't work), but Id's rather just have a tool do it. If Nvidia offers Reshade, I'd be a happy camper.

Drivers are out. Looks like sharpening will be in the standard control panel but shaders a locked behind gf experience. Maybe someone will find an end run around this.
