if this has been done here - my apologies - often these threads are made and they include dead links and missing files - this is a COMPLETE package deal!

since most other posts with this have dead links and i know many are too lazy to do searches i have made a zip file with all files needed to successfully flash your nvidia bios - FX cards as well.

I have included instructions in the zip file typed out myself (not copied from anywhere else) - i have myself flashed my MSI ti4200 from 250/450 to 305 /505 successfully (as a start - i can go higher)

so go on over to www.mathiau.com and grab the files and spread em around!

Thanks for the time and effort you put into gathering this. Now if I just owned a GF FX.

PS: Just checked out your web site... nice work.

Did you do your web design yourself? That is a very sweet looking website. I wish I had that kind of talent!

That website would be better if it had more lensflares and grammar mistakes in the slogan.

Seriously though, I appreciate the files.

Doesn't solve the thermal throttling on the GeForceFX cards, though.

lol

yeah my grammer is pure crap - i know :) will fix it up one day.

I wish i designed the site - i bought the template :) - i have not had time to do any other work on the site but hopefully will one of these days nor did i have any creative juices to design one so i took the easy way out.

i want to include info on doing volt mods for as many video cards as i can find - also need to get more bios files together as well.

Enjoy - and spread it around!

:D

I have a radeon, but thanks for adding to the community, on a side note, too much jpeg compression.

I'd like to say nice site, good complementary color scheme. I have a few friends with geforce fx's, I'll send them to that link :)

Guys, this doesn't only work on FX chips. It works on regular GeForce4's also.

Btw, isn't this just overclocking like you would with a software program? This doesn't enable you to go higher than what you can already go, right? For example: My video card maxes out at 310/605 with NO artifacts EVER. Doing this will not enable me to go higher.. it'll just keep it in the card's bios as if this was the default settings. Am I right?

Correct - you should first test out with software overclocking - find your limit - then flash your bios.

the main advantage of flashing your bios is less strain on your video card as everytime your eboot your computer you force you card back to defualt speeds, then once windows loads - it changes it to the overclocker speed.

By flashing the bios, it remains at the same speed constantly.

thnx for the comments on the site - the whole template is jpeg - i got to mess with it one of these days to see how much i can shrink it down.

Also now i am thinking of adding ATI bios editors (if they exist) and such so people can get both ATI and NVIDIA bios's as well as volt mods, but we'll see how time permits for me.

[hates dial-up with a passion]wow, your site is dial up hell. [/hates dial-up with a passion]

On another note, thanks for a great resource!

Haha...I looked because you said something, and MS Frontpage says it would take a little over a minute to load that page. Ouch. ;)

Best flash for a Ti4600 I couldn't decipher the difference between them. LMK. Thanks

Does this method work only with Gainward/Leadtek cards, or does it work with other cards too? I want to buy an MSI-made gFX5900 (regular, non-XT). Would it work if i flashed it to 5950U??

u can flash ANY nvidia based card - maker does not matter.

Now when you download the bioses, that maybe another story,

Sorry dial up people :( it is all images :( - when i get motivated i will work on trimming it down to be more dial up friendly :)

the actual bios / files page should not take too long as it is mainly a php page

thx for the files bro, if i wasnt so scared i would probally oc hehe
