KNOWN ISSUES Below is a list of known issues with the DOOM: The Dark Ages Game Ready drivers, along with their workarounds. We are working to resolve them in an upcoming driver release.
  • Issue: If you are playing on a GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU and enable G-sync (supported display required) or V-SYNC plus DLSS Multi Frame Generation through the NVIDIA App you can crash the game.
    • Resolution: Until there is a driver fix available, the workaround for this issue is to either disable one of these options in the NVIDIA App or if you want both enabled, set them in-game.
  • Issue: Users with NVIDIA GPUs may find that Alt-Tabbing while launching the game can cause the game to launch in the background and not be accessible.
    • Resolution: This is a known driver issue. Until a fix is available in a driver update, to avert this issue, avoid Alt-Tabbing while the game is launching. If encountered, it can be resolved by restarting your PC.

i lost a lot of performance with this driver,

2.14% performance loss (I'm bad at math, but I think that I used the correct formula- 37555÷38336=.9796×100=97.962). So, close to margin of error?

I'm waiting for the studio drivers as I'm now so jaded with Nvidia's drivers.
imho in this generation even 2% is a big deal now

Did they fix the issue with temps/clocks reporting with these?

I just had a Black Screen Crash with Jedi Survivor I'm switching back to the previous set which ran good for 3 hours last week.

Update played Jedi Survivor for about a hour or more no crash after rolling back to the 5060 release 576.23 driver.

like this
At least in Cyberpunk 2077, these drivers are wildly better than anything else recent. 527.xx would crash about every half-an-hour, whereas this version was crash-free after a number of hours.

I guess I'll see tonight if this version comes down with that black-screen-on-wake bug...

---[EDIT]---

No black-screen regression.

These might actually be pretty okay...

I just saw this on the Doom: Dark Ages thread:
Users with NVIDIA GPUs running the latest drivers who have AMD Ryzen CPUs may experience persistent crashes at launch.
To prevent or resolve this issue, either disable the integrated GPU in Windows Device Manager or download and install AMD driver version 25.4.1.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I'll be firing the game up for the first time once I get off work.

Did this update remove the nvidia icon from the task tray? Noticed it disappeared after updating the nvidia app and my drivers.

Open Nvidia control panel and toggle the tray icon on, or off and then back on.

Seems fine to me. I haven't tried MH Wilds since it came out, but they claim to have fixed the crashing.

Clicking that did nothing. It wouldn't even un-check. I think a clean re-install of drivers may be in order.

edit: clean install of drivers fixed it
