I just upgraded from ol' Vista 64bit to Windows 7 (also 64bit) and updated the drivers too.

But one snag I ran into was with nTune.
I had it set to auto-load a profile (mainly has a fan-control settings that kicks in) on system start which use to work fine in Vista but with 7, it would hardlock.
I had to go into Safe-mode to disable the loading of the profile and start again.
Then I tried creating a new one from scratch, set it to auto-load, and well...it's still hardlocking.

If I manually do the profile, it seems to be fine.

Any one else experiencing the same snafu?

which version of ntunes are you using? also you might want to look into rivatuner.. i believe you can do the same thing in there as you can in ntunes.. plus it has a few more features..

I'm surprised it even worked in Vista,Ntune is notoriously buggy. It caused nothing but BSOD's and headaches on my system, even uninstalling it was a nightmare.Rivatuner's latest version supports most drivers, even EVGA Precision works better than Ntune.

ntune was a POS for me on one system, and a dream on another.

Dunno. I just use what works, which is Rivatuner on one, and ntune on another (Windows 7x64... I'm not going to kill driver signing for a program).

I was able to find it that it wasn't ntune by itself that did it....it seems to have been a mix of PhysX acceleration plus ANY 3D op (more than Aero which ntune did when it loaded a profile) that caused a hardlock, and that included games....I load up a game and as soon as I "jump" it would hardlock.
I now have PhysX disabled and ntunes is now able to load up a profile just fine.
