anyone know anything about this PSU manufacturer?...do they make high quality PSU's?...my friend recommended this particular PSU and stated that Seasonic makes their PSU's...is this true?...I never heard of them before so I just want to make sure they are a reputable manufacturer...is getting this 750W PSU a good buy?

The UL number on all of the NSpireGear PSUs on Newegg show that they're made by Channel Well Tech. Still a very reputable manufacturer but not Seasonic as your friend thinks.

With that said, don't know much about these NSpireGear PSUs. Either due to my inability to search correctly or the lack of info made available on the site, don't know how this PSU stacks up to other 750W PSUs. No information on what temps the PSU was rated at, what's the max wattage available on the +12V rail, etc.

Though hopefully someone can show me up and provide the neccessary info.

Yep, those ones in Newegg definitely look exactly like CWT with all those tape wrapped coils showing. Also Seasonic hasn't yet touched bigger than 120mm fans.

But specs are very vague, also we don't know anything about "quality" definition of NSpire so there's danger of CWT putting Fuhjjyu time bomb capacitors to it like they did with Antec PSUs.
I would stay with known consistent quality brands.
