The gang at ThinkComputers has put the Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler to the test and came away rather impressed. You can see our evaluation here for comparison purposes.

Just a little while ago we took a look at Noctua’s NH-C14 CPU cooler, it featured a C-shape top down design and proved to be one of the best performing CPU coolers we have tested this year! Well today we are going to look at the C14’s brother the NH-D14. It features an asymmetrical tower-type design with 2 large fans. This once again is a huge CPU cooler, but knowing Noctua it will provide great cooling and run pretty silent. Let’s check it out!

Why those brown fans still? Are they all colorblind!? Should have a warning label about not being for use with case windows :D

yea, the color aint nice. But man does this cooler do its job.
I have this cooler and it keeps my I7 2600 K OC to 4.50 GHz at 25C Idle and has never gone over 65C full load.
Plus it pulls air over the ram sticks.

Agreed, and yes the color on the fans is kind of ugly :/
