This what my file says, it is still stuck at the same place as I pasted a few posts ago. All 4 cores are at 100% utilization right now. I guess i'll let this run for a few more hours and then just shut it down if it is still stuck there in the SMP console. I went and ran the install.bat and configonly just to see if that would change anything. I also tried rebooting the computer.
 
Did the previous unit upload successfully? If so, close the client, delete the queue.dat file, and restart it.

I think the problem is fixed. I went ahead and uninstalled the SMP client, deleted the folder and everything that was left behind, and then reinstalled and reconfigured it. It just downloaded a new A3 WU so I hope that was just a minor bug that caused this to happen. Either way i'm pissed because I missed on an entire day of folding :mad:

I can't wait, but I don't think it is going to be easy as I am going to attempt a Linux install. From what I am hearing, running it natively versus within a VM will net you some more points due to less resource overhead. This would make it worthwhile over the long haul. However I will have Windows XP x64 on there in case I can't get it to work. Never even looked at Linux before, and it is definately intimidating as i've spent the past few hours reading up on Ubuntu. What scares me the most is that I have no choice but to do wireless, and wireless is not going to be easy in Linux or with an unpopular OS like XP 64. I just don't want to buy Windows 7 for a rig that will do only folding.
