NewEgg ShellShocker 10am Corsair Force GT SSD

Reading that the new firmware update to 1.3.2 resolved most of the BSOD issues. Is this a better buy than the M4?
 
IMO, M$ is still better simply because it's not sandforce. But, don't expect a 1$ to 1GB ratio on these.
 
slightly better performance than force 3.

seems like the main difference between the two are

Force 3: Asynchronous
Force GT: Synchronous
 
This is the model to buy from Corsair. I've had zero issues with mine but YMMV when it comes to your PC. 515/559 reads and writes.
 
I bought one, was waiting for an M4 deal but this drive seems to be about on par with the crucial M4.

In for one. Never had an SSD before and this was too good of a price to pass up. Just in time for BF3.
 
You can get the max iops 120gb for only 10 bucks more AR at egg right now.

It needs that recently announced firmware update first. Also, OCZ isn't as good on RMA like Corsair. Which SDD has the lowest risk? That's what it comes down to basically.
 
I'm not the biggest OCZ fan and tend to bash them and their flaky products when ever possible but the one thing that I can say about OCZ is that their RMA service and their customer service is top notch.
