Finally a deal thread! Or...a thread, anyway.

I miss the original deal threads with categories and like three items per.

Since TD stopped posting deals, Egg has only been putting up one a week /

hmm I need a psu, put free shipping on that rosewill and it would fit the bill, not touching it with nearly 10 dollar shipping.

LOL... every week its a deal on DDR2 ram.

come on wheres the 6gb ddr3 ram deals, and i7 combos

The 1066 kit is pretty damn cheap... buy it

It might be, but I need non-performance RAM that can run at 1.8V so it'd work on a Dell computer.

I hesitated on those $15-20 (AR) 4 GB memory kit deals that existed the past couple weeks, but I'm sure they'll return.

It seems kind of pointless to be arguing over 10-15 bucks if you need it TBH.

Don't worry. The economy must not be that bad for the higher end more expensive stuff. They must be selling so much DDR3 and i7 processors that they don't need to discount them or offer promotions on them at all.....

Blah, want a good deal on 6gb ddr3 memory?

920 and mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.156590

There is a cpu, motherboard, and 6gb memory for ~620 depending on which way you go.

Since TD stopped posting deals...

Did TD ever post any deals?? As memory serves, they didn't offer anything that couldn't be had by any Joe, directly from their homepage.

Come to think of it, the Egg hasn't been much better...

Oh well, at least the email promotions and shell-shockers turn some decent deals.

(P.S. I'd still rather see a [H]ard|OCP discount code for a flat discount or free shipping, that we could use on any order. That would be sweet :) )

The 4 GB RAM is not a need for me, it's more of a "kind a nice to have want". The 2 GB it came w/ is doing just fine for my (Dell) HTPC, but I'm thinking of 4 GB if I ever want to do more w/ the HTPC other than just recording TV shows, surfing the Web, and checking e-mail.

Tempting to move to 8gb of ram... Not sure what I would do with 8gb of DDR2 in a year though when DDR3 pretty much takes over.

Check the shell shocker today

i did check it, but i paid less for my high end DFI and 6gb ddr3 1600 kit from there a few days ago, it's only a good deal on that specific board which is not that popular. would be better if they had a deal with a cheaper / more popular board.

ahh man, the 5 bucks off is only good for one set of ram. c'mon eggmeister, hooke me up with 5 bucks off the second set :D

Hello newegg webmaster

Free shipping deal on the this great Silverstone 120mm fan or this Silverstone 120mm fan would be great! Thinking about ordering 5-6 of them to replace all the crapy scythe slipstreams in my case, free shipping would seal the deal!

Thank you

Oh so close with the 4850, was really hoping for a 4870. Then again, the prices are already pretty low.
