NewEgg Black November Sales

^^ Pricing & selection of deals in this sale are FAR from impressive imo.

Worth a look, I guess.. but many of the prices seemed the same as their usual pricing (which is actually worse than many of their previous weekday deals).

Looking for some great HDD sales myself, this pricing looks terrible.

newegg "sales" blow, this is nothing new

I don't know why I even bother checking anymore

Seems like more and more of newegg's stuff is just through resellers, and I don't just mean non-tech hardware. Was shopping for mice and ran into a bunch of "sold by ____". They should have stayed happy with their niche instead of trying to become Amazon.

Found this Corsair CXM 750W partly modular PSU for $60AR ($80-$20MIR) on page 9!

I stopped on page 25 or so out of boredom.

WTF, there's a ridiculous number of CIS Ink cartridge systems on sale, some Rosewill crap and a bunch of home goods.
I knew NEwegg had kind of started sucking, but they've clearly jumped the shark.

lol now that Halloween is a full 2 days behind us.... Anyhow this isn't a real sale just like their black Friday sale wont be real but at some point they will bring out the secret deals and while people here love to bash newegg they have managed to nail a number of BF deals for me as recently as last year. So their sales aren't that bad because I shop brutally cheap. Also I think that newegg is having trouble but some people seem to be forgetting that sucky BF deals are not exclusive to newegg its an industry wide trend. BF doesn't work for online retail. It was a specific thing for brick and mortar retail stores where we saw a few glorious years and then when they realized the loss leaders didn't lead to more sales when a scalper just sold it on ebay they started to adjust.

But just in case you aren't sure just look here at this forum about half or more of the sales that people are posting as hot deals are all at neweg still today in 2013 despite people constantly claiming they suck.

I'm only interested in HDD's and those are not deals... Especially that 3TB Toshiba beware its a death trap

The worst part is when the spam my email with these fail sales. Do they think their regular customers are a bunch of suckers/idiots?

Newegg just keeps reminding me of how far they have fallen. What a bunch of crap.

No matter how decentralized, uncanny and unrealistic Newegg's direction & approach may be, I absolutely love em.

Was looking at these a few weeks ago. Note of caution, it is kind of a big gamble on these in regards to what kind of chips are on them. No one seems to be 100% sure if these are Hynix CFRs or Samsung D-revs or if the pictures are not accurate at all and they are Hynix MFRs (single-sided).

Some of Team's other 2400 kits use Hynix MFRs. Interesting read here: http://hwbot.org/newsflash/2125_the...kill_tridentx_8gb_ddr3_2933_memory_kit_review
