What are the differences between the P, G, and Q series of Intel North Bridge procs? I imagine it is basic features, but haven't seen any discussion about them.
 
P = Mainstream/Performance
G = Mainstream but with integrated graphics. Usually in mATX format. Does not overclock as well as the P.
Q = Specialized models, usually Business oriented

As for which P and G chipsets to go for:
P45 and G45 are the current and latest chipsets.
