I am going to need a new system sometime in the next year. I have been out of the hardware scene for some time and have no idea whats good and whats crap. I am hoping I can buy everything I need in one place. Anyway:

1) What will you be doing with this PC?
Gaming/web/email
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1500 but I am willing to spend more no more than $2500
3) Where do you live?
Florida
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget?
Case, PSU, MoBo, CPU, RAM, Video Card, DVD/blueray burner, HDD
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing?
I have a Soundblaster Audigy card
6) Will you be overclocking?
No
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
I have a 22" widescreen ACER LCD Max res I think is 1440x900
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Probably Q3 2011
9) What features do you need in a motherboard?
Don't need any bells or whistles if I don't have to have them.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
I plan on getting Windows 7 64 bit

What he said above. No offense, but it would be a waste of your time planning a build so far in advance.

So please come back when you're withing 2-3 weeks of actually being able to buy the PC.

I second the two replies. This is because hardware availability and deals change monthly (or even weekly or daily) - and what we recommend now may not be the same as we recommend in Q3 2011 because the parts we recommend now may be totally discontinued by that time or become more expensive than they would be worth at that future time.
