July 2011? AMD's Bulldozer will be out then, and that may change some of the parts you're considering.

Are you trying to build this system ASAP or are you waiting until July to start building? If you're waiting, then revisit this thread two or three weeks before you plan on buying everything.

Actually, the motherboard in the OP's list has an IGP (thanks to its use of an AMD 890GX chipset). Thus, the OP can use the onboard video.

Yea need to know when the build is, & if it is infact July 2k11 then there is no reason to discuss anything as very little if anything will be the same recommendation then as it would be now.

If you are going to be doing web design, you probably dont' want a 16:9 monitor, rather a16:10 ie 1920x1200. A very wide very short monitor is not good for web pages.

A cheap video card would improve your HD video playback and overall experience.

Don't like that case, but it IS cheap.

Yeah if July 2011 is your build date or, in fact, longer than a month from now, then as tiraides said, come back again two weeks before your actual build/buy date and ask for advice again. Right now you're asking waay too early. Parts can be out of stock, out of date, outperformed, or overpriced within a month let alone 6-7 months from now.

But if you were buying that setup today, I would say that setup is not that good for the money. The only good thing of note is the PSU and the 2TB drive. Everything else is just not that good of a choice.

Those Newegg combo deals saves you money, gets you a faster part for the same price, or both.
