So, I've ordered a new system.

Parts:
E5200
P5Q Pro
2gb OCZ2P800R22GK(Ddr2 800)
Sapphire 4830
WD Black Caviar 640 GB Sata HD
Eventually 1 22x DVD/R Sata Drive(trying to buy one used cheap).
Pci Wireless network card

That is pretty much it, besides my monitor and mouse/keyboard.

My question, is this:

Can a Thermaltake TR2 430 PSU power this beast?

I'm mostly worried about the 12v Rail only supplying 18 amps(average). I'm not sure if this is enough.

If I were to upgrade, I'd definitely get a Earthwatts 380, but I'd rather not spend the money if I don't have to.

So, am I asking for trouble with this PSU?

Yes you are asking for trouble considering the lower quality as well as low amperage on that PSU. Definitely get a new PSU but not the EA380 since it costs $60 right now on newegg.com. If you're willing to spend $60, I recommend getting the Corsair 400CX PSU from newegg.com instead.

However if you do find the EA380 for about $30 from a reputable site, then go for it.

Right, I hadn't actually looked recently, but when I last did the ea380 was like 30 something dollars on newegg, if IT's up to 60 it's a little out of my range.

Any suggestions in the sub ~$45 dollar range?

I just had to say what's up with the 2 gb ram? 4 gb is super cheap these days for DDR2..?

This is a little more, but it would be a good choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151060

It is a good choice but once you factor in shipping, it'll actually be $2 more than the Corsair 400CX with free shipping I mentioned above. Yet the Corsair PSU has more amperage on the +12V rail so it would be the better buy.

If you just can't spare the extra $15 for the Corsair PSU and are willing to buy from sites other than newegg.com, I recommend getting the EA380 from buy.com for $47 shipped
