They're not even out? I ran some comparisons between single SLI finger versus two here:
NVIDIA SLI HB Bridges and Pascal GTX 1080 SLI Performance
I remember using flexible sli bridges to connect 3 video cards back in the day. Someone correct me if I am wrong. But I don't think they would actually physically connect 2 fingers. Pretty sure the connections go from bottom to middle, and middle to top, and one connection from bottom to top. So electrically, with old fashioned sli bridges. You can't connect both fingers. You would have to use 2 single flexible sli bridges to do this test.
Well, there are the fingers and there are the speed differences between the newer LED bridges and the old ribbon cables. If you try to use a ribbon cable-style bridge with a 1080 today you get a performance warning.
Either way. I don't think you can conduct the test he performed using a tri-sli bridge to do dual sli. You will only get a single connection, not two.
I suppose that is a good reason why we haven't seen any, however I would have expected a review site or two to have one by now. The card has been released for over a week now.
Using the ribbon SLI bridge for now until the new 1080 SLI bridges come out. But it looks like it doesn't even matter according to the review above, the drivers havent fully supported them anyway...
Has there been any notification from nvidia or any retailers about the availability of the new SLI HB bridge? Its really odd that its been 3 weeks since release and still no bridge...
Nvidia is probably deliberately holding back because SLI performance is still terrible or non-existent on the new cards. The few benchmarks I've seen show a lot of unsupported apps or bad frame-times.

Looks to me like the HB bridge is just two regular SLI bridges side-by-side. You could probably get the same effect if you happen to have an extra bridge lying around.
Oh you actually are running SLI! How is it working for you so far? I'm debating on picking up a second 1070 or whether to trade up to a 1080.I doubt it's that simple. Those bridges have been out since last year (two finger connection). No difference in one finger versus two finger in this pic, performance-wise.
SLI seems buggy for me so far, in Overwatch I get stutters from 160+ frames to 50-70 every minute or so with SLI on with Epic settings at 1440p. With SLI off I get no stuttering at all. Fallout 4 / Witcher 3 / HOTS play with no issue with SLI on however.
I'm using a 3 way SLI bridge at the moment, waiting on that elusive SLI HB bridge...

So I just ordered 1080FE #2. I only have one of the rigid single finger, as described above .. old 2 way bridges from NV. Will this suffice at 3440x1440 until the NB bridges surface, or do I need to find one of the old 2/3 way bridges?
It's two connections.
Sketch. I know it has two fingers. This is what I mean. I don't think the electrical connections do what you think. No matter which way you connect 2 cards to an old style tri-sli bridge, you are only getting a single connection.

Which are electrically the same as th old style.
Ugh, I ended up buying the 3 slot, and noticed I needed the 4 slot. Hopefully they'll ship both even though they say limit one per person
It doesn't make sense that they could be electrically identical yet differ in performance, though. So either they're not electrically identical, or they have the same performance and Nvidia is just trying to get ppl to spend money on a new accessory.
Well, the new Hybrid SLI arrived, and I installed and ran a few benchmarks. Overall, I'm disappointed. My 3dMark score actually went down with the new bridge. I ran it about 3x and was getting about 9000-9200 on Firestrike Ultra whereas with the ribbon, I was getting about 9400-9600. On The Witcher 3, running through a stressful area, my framerate is up though. With the ribbon, I was getting anywhere from 34-46 fps (every option on and maxxed @ 4k, which includes AA as well as max hair works). With the new bridge, I was getting 39-55 fps. The average was 38 fps on the ribbon and 42 fps with the new bridge. Just remember though, these are only a few quick tests, so there could be some influences to tilt the framerate in one direction or another.
The throughput is probably slower. People have complained about the frametimes with SLI for a long time, so maybe NVIDIA is focusing on the quality of frames presented rather than pure speed. The higher frames in Witcher 3 is probably a side effect of sync and utilization being higher with the new bridge. I'd really like to see some FCAT results between the old bridge and the new. Hopefully Guru3D will step up to the plate.Well, the new Hybrid SLI arrived, and I installed and ran a few benchmarks. Overall, I'm disappointed. *EDIT*
New Bridge: I scored 9 071 in Fire Strike Ultra
Old Bridge: I scored 9 461 in Fire Strike Ultra
