Is there possible things I can change to lower the price, without lowering the overall quality too much.

I would love the ability to play most modern games (diablo, starcraft, minecraft) on quite good detail
 
Unfortunately, that prebuilt is prety crappy on account of the case and PSU: those are pretty shitty parts.

Are Minecraft, D3, and SC2 the only games you'll be playing?
 
ok thanks for that. Can you suggest a better replacement for cheaper or around the same price?

I like playing wow, guildwars (1 and 2 soon), rift, alot of text based games,
so alot of games hahah....

I will be recording music + using the system for university studies.

With SC2 and Minecraft, you should be able to get medium to high settings at the least. WoW will probably be around the medium to low range of settings.
