New PSU recommendation

I think I need to buy a new PSU (my pc doesn't always start when I push the power, and it shuts down randomly after awhile).

I have an i7 2600k, on an ASUS P8P67, with an AMD 5850 (I can switch to an 6850). I have 2 case fans, 3 HDDs (SATA II) and a DVD R/W also SATA II.

I think that the ram (2 DIMMs) need around 4 watts, the dvd ~20, the fans another 6 and the hdds around 39watts and the mobo 40watts. Unfortunately these are just estimates, as I don't really know where to find the specific power consumptions :/

The 5850 at max load needs 150watts according to wikipedia's TDP, and the i7 95 (which may be overclocked so I'll say 110).

Total 369 watts. Let's say I'm really off and it's 450watts.

I was thinking of buying an XFX 550 Core Edition PRO. In reviews it has around 80% efficiency, so it should give at least 440 watts (550*0.8 = 440). Is that enough or should I go for something bigger?

Also is it a reliable brand? I'm very concerned of my PSU failing again, and I want to keep it for at least another 4-5 years.

If you have any other PSU to recommend go ahead! I just want it to cost 120euros max.

Thanks in advance!

You usually don't want to exceed 80% of the units rated capacity. Anything from a reputable brand (Antec/Seasonic/Corsair/Silverstone/Fsp/Silverpower) in the 500-600 watts range would be capable of powering that rig. My personal preference is Seasonic, but any of the brands I mentioned are very reliable.

I recommend this PSU:
$90 - Seasonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W Modular PSU

Thanks, but unfortunately it's hard to find seasonic products where I live and I can't really wait long enough to have it shipped from the states :/ XFX is rebranded Seasonic from what I've read, so it should be as good...?

The calculator at Coolermaster's site tells me I need around 445 watts, which should be ok with a 550PSU I guess. I'm just very uncertain about the power consumption of the V8 Cooler, as it looks pretty huge for a fan...

Basically what I was going to say.

That XFX should do you well, my roomate has a similar build with that xfx without any issues. It is slightly louder than my antec 600 just so you know. :)

MY $0.02 is for the Corsair AX series. A little more expensive but well within your price range. The AX 850 I've had for a couple of builds now, and the fan doesn't even run unless the temp inside the PSU calls for it.
