Ok, I thought I had fixed my computer.
Now i am trying to install windows xp pro sp2. And it starts installing find, it loads everything required. But when it says startng windows my computer goes to a blue screen and it has an erroer (0X0000000a). I think something may have gone wrong with my RAM. Because when I have both of my sticks in it gives me an error that says something is wrong with your RAM.( it is 2 x 1 gb of corsair XMS)
MY system:
ASUS A8N5X
AMD X2 3800
eVGA 7600 gt
Corsair 2 X 1 gb XMS
200gb Maxtor SATA
160gb Samsung SATA

try and put the ram sticks in the other available slots, ie if they are currently in one color dimm then move them to the other color, and make sure that they are seated properly. sometimes a little dust or crap gets in there, you may want to try a little compressed air to clean them out.

I tryed that, I also tryed switching around the RAM in the slots. First I tryed it the first slot in I got the RAM error, nest I tryed it in slot 2 and got the error 0x0000000a. lastly i tryed in in the third slot and my computer restart. I was just test it with one stick of RAM and I ran out of tme to try it in the fourth slot.

Yes try and find out which stick of ram is bad... if you got them as a pair usually you have to RMA both of them as a pair. I know some sticks of ram have been known to have serious issues with specific types of motherboards and CPUs... yet the motherboard and RAM you have should work great.

Also disable any BIOS settings you're not using such as firewire.
And don't do any overclocking until after it's working.

So i found out it wasn't the RAM causing the problem. I broguht them to my friends to try them on his computer and they worked, so it is not the RAM. It is probably the motherboard then. But to make sure would a bent CPU pin cause this. Because in my previous problem my coputer would start up, and looking at my CPU i found a bent pin. After I fixed the pin, the computer start to work again.

If i have to get a new motherboard should I RMA the one I have or should I buy like a DFI Lanparty motherboard here?
