Hello I haven't built a new pc in years. My current setup is a frankenstein pc from spare / old parts at work that we were donaing / throwing out.

HP tower, AMD Athlon Dual Core x64 4200+ 2.2ghz 3gb ram

I generally use my pc for work, dual screen, remote desktop etc.. I don't game, but would like to play a game if I have time / interest. The cpu/board I have is because someone told me the new AMD chipset coming out will support these board sets, so when price drops I can upgrade.

What I am looking to build is this:

COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN2 CM690 II Advanced Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

SAPPHIRE 100338L Radeon HD 6770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 V2 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core

Looks reasonable. What monitor resolution? Which cpu cooler? Hard drives? Optical drive?

Are you actually building this PC or having another company do it for you?

im going to use a spare SSD I have.

The cooler i have a link for at home, and i will be building the pc myself.

I will be building the PC myself, I havent built one in about 2-3 years.

I will be using this cooler
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 "Heatpipe Direct Contact" Long Life Sleeve 120mm CPU Cooler

I have a spare 60GB SSD that I have to use and I will use my current HD as a slave for data storage.

Optical, I have a SATA CD-ROM drive on my old pc.

Monitor
Screen: 23” Ultra-Slim LED
Resolution: 1920x1080
Dynamic Contrast Ratio: 3,000,000:1
Brightness: 250 nits
Pixel Pitch: 0.265mm x 0.265mm
Response Time: 5ms
