1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc- Light gaming and video editing.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included? $1,000. Yes
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible. U.S. Naples, Florida.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need. Motherboard, CPU, Graphics card, RAM, optical drive, Hard drive, windows 7 home premium, monitor, mouse, and keyboard.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model. none.
6) Will you be overclocking? no.
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it? I have no monitor.
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC? 1-2 weeks
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc. I was thinking about the as rock z77 extreme 4.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit? no>

This is my first build and I might not understand some of these terms.
 
So video editing is the main use for this PC? What exactly is light gaming for you?

Either way, I wouldn't recommend the Extreme4, because unlike ASRock's previous generation, it has substandard MOSFETs.
 
The graphics card requirement would also vary depending on the resolution you will be playing games at.

You do realize that you can plug a USB2 device into a USB3 port, right?

For cheap keyboards, just get the cheapest Microsoft or Logitech keyboard.
 
I will be playing alot of different games and i want to run them on above average settings. I want to do basic video editing of gameplay. So i will be using this pc for gaming mostly.
 
In that case, the CPU that Mercuri chose should do the job.

As for the case, the Azza Hurricane really isn't that good of a choice since there are higher quality, roomier, or better cable management having cases out there for around and less than that price range. Not to mention that it's out of your budget. J Macker is correct that USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0

I recommend these cases since they're still in your budget:
$75 - Corsair Carbide Series 300R ATX Case
$80 - Corsair Carbide Series 400R ATX Case
$100 - Antec 1100 ATX Case

Speaking of budget, that PC Power & Cooling Silencer MK III 500W is no longer available at that $55 price point. So I recommend replacing the PSU with this:
$57 - Antec NEO ECO 520C 520W PSU

Don't bother with that Crucial RAM either: It went up by $10 and therefore no longer worth getting. I recommend this Corsair set instead:
$70 - Corsair CMX16GX3M2A1333C9 2 x 8GB DDR3 1333 RAM

Well keep posting cases here until we tell you which one is good to buy. So far, both of the cases you've selected aren't good.
 
Good choice. A tad outdated due to the lack of USB 3.0 but still a good case. Better order that case today if you want to take advantage of the $20 off promo code they're advertising.

It appears that we have no real good idea what "looks good" to you so please do your own research on good looking, but acceptably functional cases. Check out these Review Websites that are reputable and offer a better insight into which cases are good and what they look like.
