New move to ESXi

Hello Again,

I have finally gotten my box installed with ESXi and have everything configured. Now the question is how do I copy over my existing vmdk's from vmserver to the new box? where would I store them? I can use the scp cmd but don't know where to store the files.

Ok so I have copied over my first vmdk over to the new server using SSH. I am now working on getting it to show up in the inventory.

appreciate the patience!
 
Converter. IIRC, the hosted and ESX versions of the vmdk files are not compatible, at least not fully.
