New Mass Effect

You're forgetting the gawd-friggin-awful textures used everywhere throughout. Faces are the only thing in game that don't look like pixelated dawg shit.

Im pretty sure this was due to console limitations.

ME3 is definitely worth playing. ME3's Inventory system was nice balance between ME1 and ME2. The gameplay continued to improve onto ME2. And while the chat decisions were a tad weaker the story was good (except the ending, maybe?). It's just a shame the ending was such non sense. I still hope Bioware intended or adapts the Indoctrination Theory into future content because it flows so well into the themes and lore of Mass Effect universe. The gripe with the Indoctrination Theory is that means players didn't finish the battle with the Reapers. So, either you have a non sense, non IT, ending or you didn't get an ending.....

My take on ME1 and ME2:

ME1: Great story and climatic ending. Combat and inventory was a tad clunky, but still fun.

ME2: Plot makes no sense, but great side stories and fun ending decisions. Lack of any kind of inventory items was a let down but the gameplay and quests were much improved. I had to ignore some of the more retarded elements of the story, but it was not to hard to come up with my own version. Example, what is the point of Shepard being resurrected from the dead? To see how far you can suspend your disbelieve? I just pretend Cerberus saves/revives Shepard from near death/coma.
