Actually it went up a day or so ago.

Someone gifted it to me. Haven't tried it yet, but as I grew up with the original Apple IIe game, playing this one will not be an option, it's a must.

Watch the the video trailer on this game in Steam... gave me a few chuckles last night.

wow. I'm going to pick this up when I get back home... Karateka was an awesome game!

Let's face it youre never going to touch it. I know how these things go. Nostalgia factor so you keep it in your back pocket for the psychological contentment but somehow just never find the time.

Came home from work and my 6 year old was already playing it. Wound up playing most of the game, died and refused to ressurect as it seemed wrong for the game :)

I remember this one! Played it on my Commodore 64 when it first came out. I loved martial arts games (The Way of the Exploding Fist being my favorite) and this one had a cool (at the time) story and back them, about the only story telling was the foreword in the manual. Man those were the days. Every game was ground breaking and exciting cause there had never been anything to compare it to. :D

Remember that one on the C64,it actually had a story to it.Timing your moves was everything, and it had a twist at the end that probably got every player killed the first time around.

This is my most hated game in my commodore 64 library. Am i the only one who hated it? Bruce Lee was 50 times better and had multiplayer.

Anyone remember Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story for Genesis? I thought that was good...

Selling for $80 on amazon too for some reason. I should go sell mine ahah.

Yes.

Karateka is one of my all time favorite games and was absolutely fantastic for its time.

I was like 10 or something and played it an uncountable # of times.

Oh wow I never heard of it. I'm checking it out tonight!

Bruce Lee on the Apple IIe also kicked ass, but Karateka always will hold a special place for me. I swear I played it hundreds of times.

Most hated game? There was A LOT of garbage 'games' back in the day, hard to believe this game was worse for you then those.

Considering there was no spoken dialog and only displaying 8 colors or some shit like that, it was amazing.

This game just looks goofy as shit, but I bought it for my brother as a gift lol

This one did piss me off to no end. Yi Ar Kung Fu was probably the worst. That one had my raging and screaming often! Karateka got me pretty fired up too but I always went back to it eventually.

Interesting...I have that same feeling about most of the games i buy. :p
