Decided to move my amd x6 build to the living room and build something new.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming (BFBC2, ect), Photoshop, and virtualization testing.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1100 (tax and shipping included)

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

You're not going to be able to fit in a SSD and a motherboard in your remaining budget if you go with that GTX 580 card. So I recommend ditching it. I recommend this card instead:
$330 - eVGA 012-P3-1571-AR GeForce GTX 570 1280MB PCI-E Video Card

Motherboard wise, you should be fine with any of these motherboards:
$130 - MSI P67A-G43 Intel P67 ATX Motherboard
$135 - MSI P67A-G45 Intel P67 ATX Motherboard
$158 - MSI P67A-GD55 Intel P67 ATX Motherboard
$170 - MSI P67A-GD65 Intel P67 ATX Motherboard

SSD wise, I recommend these:
$115 - Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" 64GB SSD

I definitely agree with Danny, in this case. In fact, with the parts that you selected you will not be able to fit any decent motherboard alone in what's left of that $1100 budget, especially since the parts that you selected already cost $991 shipped. That leaves only $109 total for both the motherboard and the SSD - not enough for even a decent LGA 1155 mobo with an overclocking-capable chipset, let alone a decent SSD, unless you increase the budget to $1300 to $1400. As a result, you will have to downgrade the GPU in order to fit the motherboard and/or SSD in that $1100 total budget.

Thanks for the tips danny, I decided to go with the Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" 64GB SSD. I also decided to raise the budget to $1350 to allow room for 580gtx which puts me at around $1090 spent on the cpu, psu, ssd and vid card. Are the boards that danny listed the only viable with in my remaining budget? Open to other suggestions!

Main reasons why I generally recommend the MSI P67 mobos is because they fit four of my top criteria for Intel LGA 1155 motherboards which are:
1) Relatively low rate of issues
2) Good warranty
3) A company with a decent customer support and quality
4) UEFI

Gigabyte P67 mobos fit the first three but not the last one. Asus P67 mobos tend to fit the last three but not the first one. AsRock fits 1,2, and 4 but not 3 just yet. With that said, if UEFI isn't an important factor, maybe take a look at Gigabyte's P67 mobos.

Also, you didn't mention onboard video otherwise I would have recommended these mobos instead:
$165 - Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 Intel Z68 ATX Motherboard
$168 - MSI Z68A-GD55 Intel Z68 ATX Motherboard
$180 - Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68 ATX Motherboard

I ended up going with:
$154 asrock p67 extreme4
$350 sapphire 6970 (decided against the 580)

Which puts me at around $1094 (only reason i raised it was for the gtx580 really).

As for a cpu cooler, I'm think of selling my hyper212, corsair h50 and going with a nh-d14.

$154 asrock p67 extreme4

Even if that mobo had a two year warranty, its shipped cost is $163. That puts it in the same price range as the other Z68 mobos I recommended which have a three year warranty. That AsRock mobo offers nothing IMO to justify a loss in one year warranty over a similar priced mobo.

$350 sapphire 6970 (decided against the 580)

I would spend the extra $8 for a significantly longer warranty and significantly better customer support:
$358 - XFX HD-697A-CNFC Radeon HD 6970 2GB PCI-E Video Card

As for a cpu cooler, I'm think of selling my hyper212, corsair h50 and going with a nh-d14.

While yes the NH-D14 does outcool the Hyper 212 and Corsair H50, I don't think the higher cost is justified. Especially if you already have the Hyper 212+ or Corsair H50.
