Building this little guy for a pair of friends getting married. -edited out-

i3 2105
4gb corsair ddr3 1333 cas 9
Gigabyte H61N-USB3
WD scorpio black 750GB (it was on sale, and was less than any other 750gb drive... lol)
samsung 8x slim dvdrw
habey emc 800BL(120W psu, 60W brick, gonna purchase one of the 120W bricks from picopsu)
Rosewill usb wifi dongle
AZIO usb bluetooth dongle

I've got a spare i3 2100T cooler, and i'm hoping i'll be able to take the fan from that guy and pop it on the i3 2105 heatsink, so It'll be lower profile, but still more cooling capacity. push comes to shove i'll stick the 2100T heatsink on it and drop the multiplier a bit.

Total cost after promo codes $461 and change.

Why bother trying to force OS X on there? I haven't followed the hackintosh stuff too closely, but the point of a HTPC is a quiet, stable platform to dish out media both to the big screen and other devices. If you're looking to serve media, why not just throw Windows 7/8 + XBMC on there, and be done with it?

You know mac people. They want what they want what they want(I asked the groom to be). I would have preferred putting XBMC on there in one of those standalone OS deals.
