1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming (SWTOR, WOW, LOL, DOTA2, Diablo 3)
Streaming Live gameplay
Light use of Photoshop

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Would like to keep it under 600$

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Hartford, CT USA

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.

I need to select a GPU and MOBO to go with this build so far I have been looking at the following

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 448 Cores Classified

Not sure yet on the mobo at all although this one was recommended to me. (Click here)
Just not sure that I need to spend that much on a mobo to do what I plan. Unless of course anyone here thinks otherwise.

Also need a copy of windows, just not sure if 32bit or 64bit.

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.

Already ordered:

Case: Bitfenix Shinobi (Window)
PSU: CORSAIR Professional Series HX850
SSD: Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F120GBGT-BK 2.5" 120GB SATA III
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB
CPU Cooler: CORSAIR H100

6) Will you be overclocking?
Yes

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
2x 1920x1080

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Parts being ordered this Monday

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? etc.
Not really sure tbh.. Just a couple 3.0's and most all bring them anyway

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Nothing yet

The video card you chose is a solid choice. However the motherboard is a different story: It's not a good motherboard for the money at all unless you want something expensive for the bling/epeen factor. You are correct that you do not need to spend that much on a motherboard. You should be fine with this mobo:
$178 - Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68 ATX Motherboard

OS wise, go for this:
$100 - Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit OEM

Also, too bad you didn't get a Corsair case to keep up with that Corsair theme you got going on there.

Thanks for the recommendations, Ill deff take a look at the mobo. And I did buy the 600T but decided to return it, just a little too big for my taste. Almost went 650D but was too much and I fell in love with the Bitfenix line up as well :)

Thanks again

that bitfenix case looks nice, i saw a maingear add in a pc gamer i was reading that was showing that case and i was wondering what it was. its too bad you didnt talk to us before you bought the bulk of your system. that 16gb of dominator was probably more than you needed to spend. especially for sandybridge the speed and quality of your ram doesnt matter as much. so long as your ram is at least 1333mhz you wont notice much of a performance gain. i know there were some black friday deals on some nice 16gb dual channel kits for like ~$60 for 4 dimm kits.

i could be wrong, but i thought the 6950 2gb was a better card than the 560ti 448? you can pick up an xfx 2gb 6950 for 234.99 after rebate. you pay a lot for evga to OC that card for you, really not much point since its so simple to do it yourself. i paid for an EVGA SC gtx460 card and i still regret spending the extra $20 since my card wont go over the stock oc without lots more voltage.

Nothing wrong with the RAM you picked - not sure what you paid for it when you got it, but $80 (what it costs now) for 16GB is about right. Certainly not worth the hassle of returning it.

The hassle of returning repacking etc won't be worth it, at most you'll save $10 maybe. I would just keep the ram you have now.

Any of the RAM you listed are fine choices. Hell even your current RAM is good enough.

Honestly? Not really. 8GB is plenty for what you do. But RAM's so stupid cheap, do you honestly need to save that $40?

Im a full time college student paying my own way and all my own bills. 40$ saved is 40$ that can go to something else.

In that case feel free to return the ram you bought for full price if you can, and snag a 2x4gb. Newegg usually has shellshocker deals or daily deals for 2x4GB at 1333 for anywhere from 20-30 dollars.
