1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, Watching HD movies via blu-ray/netflix, Browsing Internet, Some Light Programming (Mainly Phone Apps)

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included.
Trying to keep it under $1100 if at all possible without monitor. Will not include Tax/Shipping. Will be ordering from amazon, newegg, tiger direct, or ncix. Whichever is cheapest for the item+tax+shipping.

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Kansas

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
CPU, GPU, Ram, Motherboard, Case, HDD, SDD, OS, Fan

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Logitech g500 mouse, gaming headset with mic, g15 keyboard, hotswap box with 250gb 3.5" and 2.5" for backup storage, Old Dell 19" flat screen(4:3) until I get better, cords, Lite On DVD Burner

6) Will you be overclocking?
Yes

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
Have an extra 4:3 dell flat screen 19", think its 1280x1024. Want a new 23-24" 1080p monitor. Will buy that within the next 2-3 weeks, suggestions under $200 would be nice.

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
I would like parts to be ordered within the next week.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support?
USB 3.0, would prefer if it had crossfire support.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

Not atm. Looking at windows 8 64 upgrade and upgrading an old license of XP that I no longer use. Unsure if that is possible.

I do not have a microcenter near me at all.

Here is what I was thinking so far:
CPU: i5-3570k $215
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600 $34
PSU: Seasonic X750 watt $100. This was purchased this morning btw.
HSF: Corsair H60 $65
Case: Corsair Vengeance C70 $69
SSD: Intel 330 180gb $90
OS: Windows 8 Pro 64 Ugrade $66
GPU: Sapphire 7950 $279

Total $918 so far without MB and mass storage HDD. I wouldn't mind dropping the 180gb ssd for 60-128gb version if I could get one for around $50 to save some money. I plan on running basically the OS on the SSD and all other games/programs will basically be installed on 7200rpm 1-2tb hdd.

A good monitor under $200 is also needed, but will not be counted towards the actual computer budget.

Would also be open to some recommendations on quiet fans that are relatively cheap, ~10 or less.

Plenty of good motherboard choices in the $130 range. Something like the Asus P8Z77-V LK, Asrock Z77 Extreme4, or Gigabyte Z77-UD3H. Then add a WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD for $90. If you want to save a few dollars, you can swap out the H60 for a CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ EVO, which will have the same performance for $30 less.

Newegg has the WD Black 1tb for $80 today. Is that a better drive? That is what I was thinking originally, but was wondering if 2tb would be better.

This seems like a popular gaming monitor:
$170 - Asus VH236H Black 23" LCD Monitor

How is this asrock mobo? Anybody know much about it or have any recommendations?

From my experience its always been go Asus or go home. The Asus Z77 V-LK is the most popular choice and I myself highly recommend it.

As for the SSD why not get a Kingston HyperX 3K 120 GB you can find one for $90-$100 and it will run faster than that Intel 330. In fact according to Anandtech its the fastest SSD out there right now, even beats Corsair's Neutron GTX.

Looked at that one earlier. Newegg currently has the 3570k and that mobo for $335 plus the mobo rebate. Comes out to like $325. Was thinking that or the asrock.
