1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
youtube/hulu/netflix. Also games such as planetside 2 and newer FPS's coming out
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included? ~$1500 no
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
La Crosse, Wisconsin,USA
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
PSU, video card, motherboard, retail CPU, RAM, SSDs, DVD burner, windows OS
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Im going to pick out my own Lian-li midtower with front usb 3.0. monitor, mouse and keyboard, ill make sure whatever video card suggested will fit.
6) Will you be overclocking?
No
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
Going to get 24"-27" 1920 X 1080 LCD
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
first week of January
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
I want to do a RAID 0 with two quality 120/128GB SSDs, onboard audio, front USB 3.0, SATA 6gb/s
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No. I am contemplating windows 8 but only if windows is going to stop supporting windows 7 or if 8 has performance increase. Don't want to use any metro interface and kinda want a start menu.
Thanks guys, i'm just looking for this thing to be kinda beefy maybe 2 8gb sticks to start with and such.
Also, down the line wanted the video card to be able to handle a 3 monitor eyefinity in games once I get the 2 extra monitors.
