My current computer isnt running it badly.. i just want something new.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming. Multitasking (firefox with 6-15 tabs, sometimes 2 windows), iTunes, etc

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
1500ish

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Tulsa, OK, USA

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case, CPU, Mobo, RAM, OS SSD, PSU, GPU, DVDRW

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
None.

6) Will you be overclocking?
I would like to OC a 2500k (with such value, why not?)

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
I have a 27" Samsung 1920x1200 and a 22" 1680x1050. I'd probably end up replacing the 22" with another 27" or a 24" IPS.

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Jan/Feb 2012, I don't think i care about Ivy Bridge..

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? etc.
I'd like SATA 6. Don't care about onboard video but I suppose it has its uses. RAID would be cool too, in case I decide to do that, but I am planning on building a server anyways so its probably not necessary. I just want it to have an interface that promotes overclocking a 2500k.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

I have a legit 64bit Windows 7 Professional key from school

Here is a preliminary build:

That PSU is stupid overkill unless you're planning on tri-Crossfire or something. You'll be just fine with this PSU:
$90 - Corsair 650TX V2 650W PSU

SSD wise, I would not go with that Corsair SSD for two reasons:
1) It's a Sandforce based SSD and therefore has a chance of that random BSOD bug
2) It's actually one of the slower Sandforce based drives. As such, it's actually slower than many of the SSDs we typically recommend or don't recommend

So if you want a fast and reliable SSD, I recommend this SSD:
$200 - Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" 128GB SSD
$380 - Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD2 2.5" 256GB SSD

If you want to keep with your Corsair motif and really don't mind the chance of random BSODs, then at least go for the Corsair Force GT series at the least since that series is as fast, if not faster, as the Crucial m4 series but just not as reliable:

Got a HSF for the CPU? Stock cooler could probably handle some overclocking but I imagine with the temps going out of control pretty quick.

Oh yes thats something I forgot. I have a True120 on my current rig. I'd rather just buy a new one though. Whats the current recommendation?

I don't care if its corsair or not (afa the SSD goes) I just selected them because i've always had good experiences. I'll change to any suggestions.

Everything else looks ok?

The best bang for the buck HSF right now would be this (in fact, it supposedly cools better than your current TRUE 120):
$30 - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus HSF for LGA 1366 and LGA 1156

SSD wise, definitely stick with the Crucial M4 then.

GPU wise, considering your planned purchase period, more than likely that HD 6950 may not be a good buy since AMD HD 7xxx series cards hit the markets around that time. So keep an eye out for those new AMD HD 7xxx cards.

Besides what I mentioned, looks ok to me.
