I am currently using a CoolIT Eliminator for the rig in my sig.
Love it. The cooling is very nice, and allows a very nice OC at very cool temps.

BUT.

It's freakin loud. Even with the fan tied into my mobo's cpu fan controller, this thing is very loud, and I have my case up on my desk (dust is crazy in this case with no filters).

So I want to replace the fan on the Eliminator, but i am having a tough tome finding a fan.
They are 92mm fans that are 38mm deep. They HAVE to be 38mm or the screws don't anchor the unit correctly (they hit the TEC's if the fan is too thin). Also, the high cfm rating of teh stock fan, 65cfm, is tough to find. newegg has ONE, and it's louder than this one.

Any Ideas?

EDIT: By the way, the rated noise level on the stock fan is 40db

They probably put a 38mm fan on there for the extra "oomph" those silly millimeters give ya.
I can't recommend anything else, except, get shorter screws if the thinner fans are calling your name. :D

Would that work? I mean, to get the 65cfm, it might be hard in a thinner fan.
Newegg only offers are 65 cfm fan that is 92 mm
