New Computer

I was looking for the nice desktop for less than $1000. I have been looking at some lenovo ones but I'm not too impressed with the specs. I'm not gonna be playing any games but I need something that will be able to play bluray but thats about it. Im basically looking to get the best bang for my buck. Do you guys have any recommendations? I just need the desktop, I already have everything else (screen, keyboard, mouse, etc)

Are they still a bad place to buy from? I know they had a very bad reputation a few years ago, but from I've read they have greatly improved their standards. Would it still be unwise to order from them? Their prices are quite tempting, I must say.

have you thought about building one yourself? They are not difficult to do, we can help Much cheaper and much higher quality parts.

As far as assembly quality is concerned, they still miss the mark more often than not. The shipping only makes the sloppy assembly more clearly evident.
