What happens with the diagnostic lights? They're the red ones in the very lower left.

-clear CMOS
-Try the video card in the other slot (yes, this has screwed me up many times, I'll just randomly reset and it won't start, I have to switch the video card slots, and I can switch it back after if it does boot)

Oh, sorry, nothing happens, not just black screen. Doh. What was I thinking?

Try the power switch on the board itself?

Damn, someone at the DFI forum says I need a 480W PSU minimum and I have 450W. And I need true 24-pin, which I guess I don't cause mine is a 20-pin plus a 4-pin.

No, you're fine. They're retarded at DFI-Street. There are many people that simply refuse to go there for help because they just spew crap like that and they're usually snobs when doing so. 450W is plenty to run this board (assuming no SLI), no matter what they say. And 20-pin + 4-pin is fine, unless you mean 20-pin + the 4-pin aux, which is different than 24-pin. If it's just a 24-pin where you can slide the 4 pins on or off, that's fine.

Make sure the board isn't grounding itself out (the screws underneath are installed)
Also check the manual make sure your +5 or the power header is pulgged in right
Then reseat the memory module to make sure they are installed correctly
Also double check and make sure the vid card is right.

Does it not power the fans.
Does the power supply turn on for a brief second then turn off?

If it does the second one it could very well be your power supply i have had that happen to me before and it's happened on a new build.

Looking at this pic, it seems like you can add the 4-pin connection to the 20-pin connection and then stick it in the motherboard. Then there's another 4-pin connection which should plug into the motherboard in another area. If you have that right, disconnect everything but the power, CPU, RAM and video from the motherboard. If you get a beep, start connecting everything one by one to see which part is bad.
