Here's what I got:

AMD64 3800+
Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI
2x eVGA 6800GT
Corsair XMS TwinX PC3200 Cas2

So here's the deal... if I use my graphics cards for anything beyond basic desktop(movies/dvds included in that) the system reboots itself. Instant crash, no bsod. Running Winxp Pro. I made sure that the cards were seated 100% and all that jazz, as well as made sure the strap board was set to SLI mode. I tried turning SLI off(in software) and it then ran... I got to the 5th test on 3dmark01 default settings. It isn't a temp issue.. I hit the HSF on the cpu, and both gpu's with my laser and didn't read anything alarming at the very second of reboot.

Any ideas? I've tried getting ALL updates(bios, drivers, windows) can't seem to kick this bug.

Did you swap the cards? I was having similar problems, switched around the cards and it worked fine.

I AM 100% positive you are experiencing power issues. I have had dual 6800GT's since december and have gone through 4 PSU's till I found one that actually can handle the load (actually I had another that handled stock load fine, but could not keep up with the cards clocked up at 420 1150.

Insta-reboots and Shutdowsna re almost always Power Related...

BTW, you didn't even mention which PSU you are using... and it doesn't matter: GET THE PC POWER AND COOLING 510W SLI NOW!

I like the OCZ Powerstream 520 myself ;). Cheaper than the PCP&C and it is "almost" as good :).

Thermaltake Silent Purepower 480W

Sounds like I should upgrade! Hehe... damn man... i remember when I was happy to have a 200w..

HAHAH! Funny thing is I don't even remember wtf thoose post were that you deleted... heh...
