Looking to build a new computer for my gf, her budget is 800$, Im seeking advice on what I should look for as i normally build my rig's with 1k+ budgets. thanks in advanced.
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
She will be playing games, currently playing wow, would like to be able to expand to newer games as wow does not require a lot.. so mmo's in general.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
~800$
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Mesa Arizona.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
*Motherboard
*GPU (nvidia if possible)
*CPU (intel)
*Ram (8gigs if possible ddr3)
*Hard drive
*CD rom
*Power supply
*case
AKA everything in the tower.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Depends on what you wonderful people are able to come up with, I have an old 250gts available, Though I worry about bottle neck issues.
6) Will you be overclocking?
Nope
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1680x1250 22in widescreen
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Im in trouble because she expected it to be ready when she got off work 20 min ago
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
Will be running win7 64bit
Sata 3g or 6g does not matter to me.
No SLI/Crossfire or raid.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Will be running win7 64bit, legit
If I forgot anything I apologize, let me know and I will update.
