As per the forum sticky
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc

A)Gamin+Watching HD Content+Music

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

A)Tricky, because I leave outside of the U.S,way out.But I will be bringing in all the products that will be suggested here from US through a friend.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.

A)CPU+GPU+SC+MOBO+PSU+RAM

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.

A)Nothing reusing,upgrading a 4 year old build.Though I have a thermaltake 750w Toughpower

6) Will you be overclocking?

A)Never

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?

A)23',1080p

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

A)Within a month or max two.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.

A)RAID not all that neseccary, but most high end ones will have them I guess,eSATA,SATA 6gb,USB 3.0 is all fine. The thing is I want something that will support a GTX690 with Liquid Cooling plus a sound card, and that is all.Any extra pci\pcie is a waste for me.I won't do a SLI ever.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

A)Win 7 ultimate 64bit.

Now,I know I want a gtx 690,but that's all I know. You guys will have to tell me about the
MOBO(No idea),

PSU(1000w?),

SC(Zero Idea, asus an HT|omega are good is all I know, this will be my first time using them),

RAM(16gb corsair has always been my choice, but give your suggestions.),

CPU(3570k caught my eye,i7 seems like too much to me.)

Please answer sticky question 2: What's your budget?

Which games are you (planning on) playing?

Where are you buying your parts from?

Why do you need a water cooling setup? A sound card?

If you aren't overclocking, why are you looking at a Core i5-3570K processor?

As I said, the answer to budget is quiet tricky, cause I will get my items from overboard(in my case that is the US)but for a standard my budget is estimated $2500.

Most of the new AAA titles.I love and mostly play RPG's,but once those Graphics heavy titles like Battlefield 3 or Crysis 2 comes out,I do play them.So I plan to play Crysis 3 and so on.

I don't know exactly if I need them, that is yours to suggest. And it is my understanding that these 690,680 card's produce a lot of heat and noise, which becomes quiet manageable with a Liquid cooling system.

I listen to a lot of music.I want to move up in the level of experience.

My bad,it would be Core i5-3570,not the overclocking version. And then it's only my opinion,if you wanna suggest something else, please do.

A GTX 690 would be a bit of a waste at 1080p, a 680 can handle BF3 and Crysis 2 at max settings at that resolution. Liquid cooling would be even more of a waste of money especially as you're not overclocking, just get an aftermarket 680 (Asus DCII is the quietest one) and a case with good airflow.

I'd suggest investing quite a bit of that budget into a decent sound system if you listen to a lot of music, an i5 3570 + GTX 680 system shouldn't cost more than half your budget, and you can reuse that 750W PSU. You don't need anywhere near 1000W if you're not overclocking or going SLI.

What info are you looking for? slh28 pretty much responded to your previous post.

Ok, what state is your friend locted in? Can you narrow down that time-frame any further?

Also, you do not need a 1000W PSU. Considering that you only have a 1080P resolution, that's not gonna require a high-end GPU setup where such a PSU would be needed. Nor do you need liquid cooling since you're not overclocking.

Now do you actually have high-end speakers? Otherwise, it's a waste to buy a dedicated sound card if you don't have good speakers to match.

OK,this is weird.you guys are forgetting about the mobo and ram.I also need the info on the mobo and ram.

Sorry but no,overseas dealing is tricky. It can be anytime between a month or two max.He lives in NY,can't exactly remember the address right now.But most products within US gets delivered anywhere in US right?

I have a M-audio 40,shouldn't I get a good sound card?I received them a few months back and I feel wrong using them w\o a good sound card.I know I should get a good sound card.Right?

But I wish to get another two 1080 monitors later this year, what then? Will the GTX 680 be suffiecient?

We're not recommending anything since we still don't have enough information from you. So pleas calm down and answer our questions thoroughly.

What country are you in now?

Are you perfectly fine with not having warranty on the PC parts? Remember that PC parts bought here in the U.S do not have warranty outside of the U.S. So you would have to ship the defective part back to your friend in the U.S in order to get warranty service. With shipping costs and such, it might actually be cheaper or more cost-effective for you to buy the parts in your country.

Yes. But since your friend lives in NY, he might be near a few stores where he can either A) save you money or B) pocket more money for himself i.e tells you that the CPU costs $220 when he's near a store that'll only charge $180 for the CPU. If you're perfectly fine with the latter situation, I can start recommending parts as soon as you answer some other questions.

Yeah those are good. Yes you should probably get a dedicated sound card for those.
But I wish to get another two 1080 monitors later this year, what then? Will the GTX 680 be suffiecient?
Ok you didn't mention that before. Now are you actually planning on playing a game with all three monitors or just playing games on one monitor and using the other monitors for movies/web browsing?

Also, anything else you want to tell us about what you're planning to do with this PC?

Yeah you basically need to make up your mind about the monitors now, if you're thinking of gaming over 3 screens at 5760x1080 you need 3x more GPU power than if you were just gaming on one 1080p monitor. That will change the recommendations for the GPU, mobo and PSU.

@Danny Bui

I live in Bangladesh. The product situation here is very weird. We have a i7 3770(which is extremely overpriced, bringing it from US might actually save me $5-8 compared to buying from here) and a few i3 but nothing from a i5 lineup.
And to mention about the MOBO and RAM is mentioning disaster. And they provide no warranty whatsoever anyway.

I am absolutely certain he won't do that.

Yes I am planning on gaming with the three of them. But ofcourse I will also watch movies and web surfing with them too.I think the 690 supports three display outputs?Though I am gonna do some research first.Like will vertical position or horizontal will be better.

They are awesome,right? I love the M-audio av40.

As in the first post,I am gonna game, watch HD content, listen to a lot of music.Web browsing and few other minor tasks might be accomplished with this, but they are not that important. The main focus is gaming.

Ok since you plan on gaming on all three monitors, then yes the GTX 690 is a choice for you. However, I'd personally recommend GTX 670 4GB SLI, GTX 680 4GB SLI, HD 7950 3GB CFX, or HD 7970 3GB CFX since those would have better longevity when it comes to future games and Surround/Eyefinity.

Since you're not overclocking, you'll be fine with the Core i5 3470 CPU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115234

Motherboard wise, you should be fine with this mobo:
$140 - Asus P8Z77-V LK Intel Z77 ATX Motherboard

RAM wise, I recommend two sets of this RAM:
$45 - Samsung 2 x 4GB MV-3V4G3D/US DDR3 1600 RAM

Power supply wise, can't give you a recommendation there until you solidfy your GPU choice.

OK,thanks for the info's so far.
Now,if I go the 680 sli path,what psu?And if 690 then what?Sli seems like a hassle to me.But if you recommend then it's fine.

For GTX 680 SLI, you'll be fine with the Corsair HX750 750W PSU. Same for the GTX 690 as well.
