Hi guys. I finally convinced the wife to let me build a new computer. Problem is I have been out of the game for at least 7 years. I need help with this please.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming (Skyrim, BF3), watching movies with the family, and web browsing
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1200 for the tower, $1200 for a large monitor, the bigger the better (thinking of HP ZR30W). I can pony up some more cash for taxes and shipping.
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

USA, near Omaha, Nebraska
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case, CPU, motherboard, video card, hard drive, KB/mouse, monitor, memory, power supply
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
2 21" displays if video card setup supports 3 displays
6) Will you be overclocking?
no
7) 7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
I would like to get a 30" or larger monitor
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
December 2011
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
Crossfire or SLI depending on recommended video, USB 3.0
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yes, Windows 7 Professional on the shelf

Thanks for the help!

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
December 2011
Unfortunately, you're planning the build a little too early. So whatever parts we recommend this month may not be the same parts we recommend next month. So please bump up this thread a week before you buy to make sure that the parts we recommended are still solid choices.
