Hey everyone, long time lurker.

I've decided to build a new computer for battlefield 3. I haven't built a computer since high school when I was really into overclocking and modding. Then I went to college, got a sony vaio laptop, and haven't really touched a desktop since. Well now that B3 is coming out, and seems like the next best thing next to CS 1.6, I've decided to build a sweet new rig.

Specs:

Case: Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black
Power Supply: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
HDD:Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB
Memory: G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (will be shooting for 16gb at somepoint)
Processor: AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 3.1GHz 8MB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core
GFX: XFX HD-695X-ZNFC Radeon HD 6950


Thoughts?

Though a few things right off the bat:
- That Antec 300 Illusion case is not worth it at all due to its cramped size, no cable management capability, and possiblity of not being able to fit the HD 6950 at all. I recommend the following cases:

$90 - Cooler Master CM690 II Advance ATX Case

- HDD wise, I recommend this significantly faster hard drive for $15 less:
$65 - Hitachi Desktar 7K1000.D HDS721010DLE630 1TB SATA 6.0Gb/s Hard Drive
 
Go SB, BD is junk. Go with the samsung 1tb drive, its cheaper and offers pretty much the same performance.

Personally I like nvidia, I have had too many driver problems with ati so I would recommend a nvidia card instead.
