This is an upgrade for my brother-in-law and he wants to put this together over thanksgiving weekend. I've been out of building for a while and just want to make sure this all looks fine.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
This PC will be built for gaming (primarily Microsoft Flight Simulator) and also some Adobe Pro usage
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
I'm thinking budget will be between $1000-1100
3) Where do you live?
US of A
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.
CPU, RAM, Mobo, Video Card, PSU, a couple case fans
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
I'm going to be using a beige case that my brother-in-law wants his PC in.
6) Will you be overclocking?
I wouldn't be against it but I'll have to see what kind of fans (size, #, etc) the case I am using will hold
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
22" and 42" lcds
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
I'd like to have 3x channel memory and a crossfire or SLI enabled motherboard
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
Going to get him a Windows 7 64-bit license but i'm not sure what flavor he needs. I'm thinking Home Premium probably should be fine, but Pro isn't that much more, and Ultimate isn't much more than that even.

I'll pick up a tube of AS5 and a couple of case fans depending on what we need. How does this look? I'm kind of iffy about the motherboard, processor and OS version and just wondering what's appropriate. I'm just wanting something really sturdy since I'll be 3 states away from the computer and don't want issues.

That CPU will not work with the motherboard you chose. The i5 750 is socket LGA 1156 while the entire X58 chipset is LGA 1366. So you'll need to up the CPU to the Core i7 920 if you want tri-channel RAM:
$280 - Intel Core i7 920 CPU

For $10 less, I'd recommend getting the XFX branded HD 4870 due to the lifetime warranty and far superior customer support:
$155 - XFX HD-487A-ZWFC Radeon HD 4870 1GB PCI-E Video Card

For $5 more, I'd recommend getting this better quality PSU:
$115 - Antec Truepower New TP750 750W PSU

TBH, I'm not familiar with sub $200 X58 motherboards. Socan't really help you there.

Also, will that case be able to fit the motherboard and video card? Any chance you can get pictures of the inside of the case?
 
WroNg CPU. You need i7 920 for that motherboard.

Edit: dangit it takes 5 mins to load, type, post on the phone haha
 
See, this is why I asked. That would have been bad to get the wrong socket. I swear I checked but yeah, haha.
 
If you have a Microcenter nearby, they sell the i7 920 for 199.99. They will also pricematch with virtually any online retailer including Newegg.
