Transferring my video card and drives from my old box.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

However off the bat, that RAM is not a good choice at all on account of it being rated at 1.65V. With the new Intel CPUs, you want the RAM voltage to be 1.5V or lower or otherwise you risk CPU damage. So find DDR3 RAM rated at 1.5V. Speed and timings really don't matter.

If I overclock it wont be extense. I'm into stability and great temps.

Boy its not easy to find 1.5v ram. Most is 1.6 or higher

I need to know what GPU you have to determine whether or not that PSU is overkill for your needs. Depending on your GPU, you would probably be fine with a solid 650W PSU.

Its for gaming and some minor video editing for family

In that case that setup is stupid overkill for your needs. That's the kind of setup for people who want to spend money for shits and giggles or do an extensive amount of video, 3D, or audio editing/rendering or work with a lot of VMs. For gaming and minor video editing, you would be fine with the still overkil-ish Core i7 3770K or 3770 or Core i5 3570K or Core i5 3450.

Man you really haven't built a new PC in awhile: There's 484 different DDR3 RAM on Newegg that's rated at 1.5V. There's only 215 DDR3 RAM on Newegg thats rated above 1.5V. So it shouldn't be hard to find RAM rated at 1.5V.

Well if you go for the Z77 chipset and the Core i7 3770/3770K setup, I recommend this motherboard:
$190 - MSI Z77A-GD65 Intel Z77 ATX Motherboard

Because Windows 7 Home Premium is artificially limited to 16GB of RAM which means you buying 32GB of RAM would have been waste. We've been seeing people doing that lately.

Ahh ok. That explains it. Yeah there's not many 8 stick packs but there are lots of other smaller packs that works just as well. I recommend this RAM set regardless of which platform you're going with:

Since the X79 has 8 RAM slots, it's a waste just filling it up with 4GB sticks. Since it appears that you want 32GB of RAM, if you go with the Z77 setup, you're gonna need 8GB RAM sets.

I haven't been able to find a review of it either. However Newegg user reviews for the other Intel X79 mobos don't look that great either. Grain of salt of course.

If you want 32GB of RAM, just buy two sets of the RAM I linked and you'll be fine.
