1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming mainly
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Would like to keep it around $700 or less
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

Ontario near London
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
CPU, RAM, Motherboard, Hard Drive, Case
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
ASUS 6850EAH video card, Corsair 750HX power supply
6) Will you be overclocking?
Probably a little bit, nothing big in my mind yet
7) 7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
3 22" 1980x1080, generally don't use eyefinity when I game though, just run one monitor
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Tomorrow (boxing day)
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? etc.
Crossfire would be nice (just for the option, no plans on running xfire yet), USB 3.0 must have some ports, SATA 6Gb/s would be nice
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Already have Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

I ran through a quick build earlier, my build will likely have to come from Canada Computers (at least partially, have gift cards).

Currently I have this in mind:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3

CPU: i5-2500k

RAM: 2x4GB Kingston HyperX 1600MHz (2 sets totalling 16GB, one of the sets is free with the mobo)

Hard Drive: WD 500GB 7200rpm SATA 6GB/s (I want a SSD for the OS, but can't fit it in the budget right now - will be added later)

Case: NZXT Phantom White

I appreciate any input you guys can provide soon, wish I could have got this up earlier but I didn't plan on doing this now. The build listed above totals $700 almost exactly, tax included. Thanks in advance.

I would try for some CL7 ram instead of that CL9 but just a suggestion, you'd probably have to go with 1 gig sticks or 2 gig sticks to find CL7 ram. I buy into the hype that CL actually means something for gamers though there have been articles that say otherwise.

Edit: I would suggest a 32meg buffer on the HD but for a 500 gig HD it may not be necessary for performance sake, however, for gaming the more buffer you throw at it the better. I saw a 150 gig 10k rpm velociraptor : http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=15_210_212&item_id=041440 for $60 more or there was a 300 gig raptor for $100 more on that website. Not a bad upgrade option since the HD is the biggest bottleneck.

Edit2: water cooling option http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?cPath=8_135 for $50 or so more. I got an H60 and simply screwed in an extra fan in a push and pull configuration, no big mod just simple and it keeps my 1100T at 100 degrees F at idle. However, the H70 performs better due to a better pump and the Antec 920 is actually louder but performs better from reviews, too. In hind sight I may have gotten the 920 because the H60 is whisper quiet, I was worried about sound.

Ditch the RAM: It's rated at 1.65V which means that it has a higher chance of damaging your CPU. Go with RAM rated at 1.5V.

Other than that, looks like a good setup to me.
