Looking to spend about $1k. In North America. Primarily gaming.

Already have a GTX 970. May add another. System is for my son. He wants a little bling for the case. Looking at a Phantom 410, 530 or 630. Thoughts on the below?

Some additional questions:
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.

If you're buying within a week, get this RAM instead:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233835

You really won't notice a difference between DDR4 3000 and DDR4 2666 and the latter comes with a $10 promo code if you buy before 9/7. So the total cost is $115.

Don't bother with the Phantom 410. It's a bit cramped inside and there are significantly better cases for the money out there.

7) 1080p 24" (may go 1440p)

8) ASAP

9) SLI, USB 3.0, DDR4, Intel NIC,, socket 1151, decent sound card. I currently use an Asus z68 Pro and have been happy with it.

Well then, other than the RAM and case, that setup is more or less fine.
