Some gaming, light photoshop use, watching movies, all around normal pc use

I have these monitors sitting in my closet, thought I'd use them for a basic eyefinity setup, I don't need anything to provide maximum performance. I'm fine with gaming at mid level settings if need so. Heres what I had in mind.

CPU: FX 4170 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819106009

Board: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157281 (it's probably a bad board but I'd like to stay away from the blue colored boards. i'd like a dark theme build or red this time)

RAM: I read good reviews about RipJaw's plus the color scheme would match well.

edit* after hunting around I was able to find a 2500k NIB for $40 more over the 4170, would it be worth the extra dough?
i'd appreciate any input or advice here guys! thanks!

Yes, get that 2500K right now. It's worth the extra cash in every way possible.

Well, if possible I would like to keep it without any other colors but black and red as possible but I know I can't be picky on my budget. I've noticed some boards have 1 vga, 1 hdmi, and 1 displayport or dvi like the ASRock Z77 Extreme6 would I need adapters for 3 monitors with boards like that still?

The problem is that the mobos that fit your exact color scheme requirement are all AsRock mobos. Frankly put, we generally don't recommend AsRock mobos here in General Hardware since they appear to be inconsistent when it comes to quality and HardOCP hasn't reviewed the Asrock Z77 mobos yet.
