New build, need advice.

I've been lurking off and on now for some time ever since buying my current system off a friend who hung around here. I bought that system sometime back in 2006/2007, so I'm due for an upgrade.

I'm currently working with:

PSU - Antec New HE 430
MoBo - Gigabyte 965P-DS3
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 @ 1.8 GHz
RAM - 2x Corsair DDR2 1Gb
Graphics - ATI Radeon x1800 series

I'd like to start from scratch and build a whole new machine. I'm also thinking of turning my current system into a file server. Anyways, here's my answers to the build questions:

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming (SC2, Civ5, etc), Streaming video/music, Work (Programming via remote desktop connection and locally), Web browsing, some minor photo and video editing though nothing major
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1000 - $1200, all included
3) Where do you live?
Tulsa, OK
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case, MoBo, CPU, RAM, PSU, Graphics card, HDD (preferably SSD), DVD burner
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Will be reusing 2 monitors (specs below), keyboard, mouse, webcam, printer
6) Will you be overclocking?
At first no, maybe later depending on how adventurous I get
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
Main monitor: 22" Acer w/ max res of 1680x1050
Second monitor: 20" Acer w/ max res of 1600x900
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
I really would like to jump in a build it ASAP. Am also looking for advice on whether or not to wait for Sandy Bridge.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? etc.
Decent on board sound, 1 Gb ethernet
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Win 7 Pro 64-bit

After reading some other threads and doing some browsing around I've come up with a preliminary build. What do you think:

I was also thinking of adding a 1TB HDD for more storage, so I could use some recommendations there.

do you need an ssd?
personally I'd get a cheap 1tb hdd, and a gtx 470

As for waiting for Sandy Bridge, I say wait. It's only three weeks away. I think you can hold onto your old rig for now.

Afaict sandy bridge will be bringing us a double whammy of higher clockspeeds at each pricepoint and higher IPC. Further if you buy LGA1156 now you can basically forget about any significant CPU upgrades down the line whereas LGA1155 as the start of a new platform should have more upgrade options.

On the downside it appears the only way to overclock sandy bridge will be to buy the unlocked K series models.
