Here's what I am thinking of getting:

Antec Three Hundred Case
Intel Core i5 650
EVGA GeForce GTS 250 1GB
Pioneer DVR-218L
Western Digital VelociRaptor 150GB
G.Skill Ripjaws F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH (2x2GB) DDR3
Samsung P2350
ASUS P6T Motherboard
Corsair HX-650 Power Supply CMPSU-650HX
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1

Also, is it worth getting triple channel RAM is there a big gain in performance?

Thanks.

the raptor, gtx 250 and the i650 need to go.

the raptor isnt worth the price. get two 1tb hdds instead.

the gtx 250? hd 4870? hd 5770? yes a gtx 250 and run it, but i wouldnt buy it just because it is a rebranded card (8800gt, 9800gtx)

i650? come on get the i750!

I concur with tricky0502 100%: Zero, and I mean, ZERO reason to go with the Core i5 650. In addition, that's the wrong CPU for that mobo: the Core i5 650 is socket LGA 1156. The mobo you chose is the socket LGA 1366. The cheapest consumer grade CPUs for socket LGA 1366 are the Core i7 920 and Core i7 930 CPUs. If you want to go with the Core i5 750, you're gonna have to go with a socket LGA 1156 mobo using the P55 chipset.

CCD:MW is mainly GPU limited at virtually every res. SO there's virtually no performance difference between a Core i7 920/X58 mobo and a Core i5 750/P55 mobo with COD 4 or MW2. So if you go with the Core i5 750/P55 route, that frees up enough cash for a higher end video card. Look at the HD 5770 as a minimum for a 24" monitor. Though ideally, the HD 5850 is the better choice. And no, Nvidia does not have a single GPU worth buying now from cost-performance point of view.

Velociraptor drives aren't worth it all these days since many consumer 7200RPM drives offers at least 90% of the performance of a Velociraptor drive but at 1/3rd to 1/4th the costs. Check out these drives:
$55 - Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
$70 - Western Digital WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
$75 - Western Digital WD6401AALS 640GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
$90 - Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

Though if you have room in your budget AFTER upgrading the GPU to a HD 5770 or HD 5850 AND adding a hard drive, see if you can add a SSD for faster loading:
$130 - Intel SSDSA2MP040G2R5 2.5" 40GB SSD
$290 - Intel SSDSA2M080G2XXX 2.5" 80GB SSD

There's very very little performance increase with triple channel RAM. In addition, triple channel only works with the X58 chipset, not the P55 chipset.

the raptor isnt worth the price. get two 1tb hdds instead.

Raptors are extinct lolz. "Raptors" "extinct" get it... ah I'm so corny.

Samsung F3's would be a good choice, if you don't have the budget for two 1tb, you can always get the 500gb single platter and raid them for some sick performance.

Def do not get the nVidia GTX, nor the i5 650, the case is your call and the Antec is reliable, and avoid the veliciraptor

The i5 750 and i7 920 are both overkill for that game and setup. And no you don't need a CPU that supports triple channel.
Go AMD X4 955 and get a 5850. That CPU is more than enough to do the job for those games, anybody who says otherwise must be compressing files and watching movies while gaming.
I'd say put the extra $$ and get a 1920x1200 resolution monitor.
Lastly, if it fits in your budget, the 40GB intel SSD Danny listed would be perfect for Windows. The Spinpoint 1TB Danny listed would be ideal for games, apps, and the like.

@gwarren007: I often see you recommend the sonata over other cases. Why do you like it so much? Just curious.
