I am currently in the process of planning/buying parts for a build, my original deadline was mid August-September for assembly however there is a great sale on tomorrow at a local chain and being pathologically indecisive I need come collective wisdom as to whether I should scoop some of these up or hold out for something better/etc. I would ask this in the Hot deals thread, but apparently I am a scrub who can't post there yet.
2600k - $250, sounds like an awesome deal, probably going to grab it
Antec H20 920 - $70, again probably going to buy it or the 620 for $40
Sapphire 6970 - $280, this is where is gets iffy, I haven't this seen one this low yet, but it looks like a reference card based on the original launch. For the same price, I can try to pick up two 6850s for crossfire which should in theory get me better performance. The other option is to keep using my 5770 and just wait until the 7x series launch.
p8Z68v Pro - $150, I really wanted a 'good' p67 board instead, like the p8p67 Evo/pro/deluxe, I realize good is subjective but I really don't need SSD caching, on board video or QuickSync, then again this is a full fledged board for $150
Corsair F60 Sata3 - $60, I already have the WD SSD that egg had on sale about a month ago but $60 for a corsair sata3 seems too good to pass up
Thoughts, advice, opinions and musings would be appreciated.
Thanks.
