Hi everyone, looking to do a major upgrade from my e8400 based system. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

1) What will you be doing with this PC?
Gaming. 24 inch widescreen monitor so I would like to be able to run 1900x1200 with everything maxed out.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

3) Where do you live?

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget?
CPU, RAM, GPU, HDD(solid state), Large capacity HDD,CPU cooler, MoBo

SATA 6GB, USB 3.0, Good onboard audio(thinking about dropping the Soundblaster and going with onbaord audio)

If you're planning on buying everything (at least) two weeks from now, let's wait until then. We're nearing the end of March, and NewEgg's good combo deals for the month of April won't arrive until the first full week of the new month.

I probably worded that wrong. I mean that I'd like to start buying now to build it within 2 weeks to a month.
 
One thing that I would advise against carrying over to the new build:

That Sound Blaster sound card. The available Windows 7 drivers for that card are very buggy, and the hardware can fail to initialize when booting into Windows. A reboot is required to get the sound back - and then, it does so with a very loud pop that could potentially blow out the loudspeakers or headphones connected to it.

TY! That's good to know. I dont really want to carry it over, to be honest the only reason I put it in my current build was becase the faceplate with all of it's input options is very convenient.

Though you didn't list a power supply in your answer to sticky question #4, I chose one to accompany your new build.

Though the new Intel 510 series SSDs are out, their prices are what pushed me towards the Crucial C300 series SSDs. If can wait, however, it's wise to do so; Crucial will be releasing its C400 series SSDs soon.

Yes, the Hyper 212 Plus is good enough for overclocking. No, you don't need RAM faster than DDR3 1333 for overclocking the new Sandy Bridge processors. And before someone shits on me for picking an MSI board, read this.
 
Ty. Yes I do need a new psu thanks for noticing that.

I like the 1 touch OC feature of the MSI board.
