Hey guys, im planning on using this build for BF3 an want to keep it under 800 bucks. I have a main HD, Optical Drive, and Case. I also have a Corsair 550W PSU, but I dont know if it will be good enough, thoughts? Also, please let me know what you think of this build.

MB: ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3
CPU: i5-2500k
Memory: G.Skill Sniper 4x2
SSD: OCZ 30GB
Video Card: GTX 560 Ti

Please let me know what you guys think. I am on a pretty narrow budget, so anywhere you guys think I could save some cash, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

Honestly I wouldn't get that SSD. It's a very small SATA II drive, I would hold off and wait for more money, and get a SATA III SSD of at least 64GB.

Also, asrock mobos only have a 2 year warranty. I would switch it for either MSI or ASUS, both offer decent mobos in that pricerange.

Do you plan on overclocking? If not, you can get an i5-2400 and save some money.

550w is cutting it pretty close, but should be sufficient for your needs.

Any suggestions on Motherboard? I scrapped the SSD for now until I can afford something more suitable.

Please answer the following questions:
6) Will you be overclocking?
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? etc.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? 32bit or 64bit?

I appologize.

6. I will probably overclock in the future, though nothing radical.
7. I have 2 22" monitors
8. I will be buying the PC soon, probably around the holiday or directly after
9. Possible SLI for the future, USB3.0 for the future, eSATA is a necessity, No other things I can think of would be necessary.
10. I have a 64bit Windows 7 home premium key (legit)

Thanks! That looks great. So far im down to 650 total, which is great. I should be able to swing that pretty easily.

You can still fit in a good SSD then:
$125 - Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2CCA 2.5" 64GB SSD w/ USB to SATA Adapter and Drive Cloning software

And yes, your current PSU will be enough and you won't be pushing it.

Interesting, would I get more benefit from a SSD or a new PSU?

SSD. Like I said, your current PSU is just fine. You only need a new PSU if A) your current PSU is dead or dying or B) You're planning on upgrading to GTX 560 TI SLI.

You might want to go ahead and get DDR3-1600. No real performance benefit right now, but might help resale value in the future.

Or, if you aren't worried about clearance issues, you can get this Corsair kit for $37.99 (after $5 promo)

Heck, even this low voltage Sniper kit is only $37 after promo code.
