Thanks, do you know if the 11.12.1 the same as the ones discussed on guru3d as the 11.12 WHQL 8.921.5 drivers dated December 29?

The 11.12.1 on the CD are 8.921.0.0.

Thanks again. I installed the 11.12 WHQL 8.921.5 drivers on top of the 1/9/12 Windows 7 64-bit drivers. The installer detected that the only component that needed updating was the AMD display driver. Whoops, the screen just flickered. Sigh. I can't wait for official 12.1 drivers. I hope it stomps out this bug.

You should try Witcher again and see if it still crashes.

Improved stability when enabling / disabling CrossFireX™ and installing the AMD graphics driver on AMD CrossfireX™ configurations

I will, but I believe this is referring to Enable and Disabling crossfire, Did get a crash once when DISABLING crossfire, blue screen with a "not_in_list" error =) and installing the driver takes unusually long, it even did on my 6990+6970 since the 11.12 driver dropped.
