Hmmm... Placed my Pre-order on sunday for the new 360 because they already sold out the first week. Now its Wed and still no word on when the new shipment is coming... :sigh:
 
Just got mine today.. It's so nice, love the wireless N because before I had a network cable strand across one room. Extra HD space is always nice, I was able to put my music collection on it.. most of all its very quiet, even more quiet then my PS3 slim... I was very impressed.

Ya, was checking out my friends new smaller xbox360. I was impressed by how quite it was and also how nice it looks. I'm definitely considering trading in my old system.
 
Damn you people. I wasn't sure if I was going to pick one up or not, but it sounds like a winner.
 
looking at trading mne in to. called gamestop yesterday and they said they wouldn't be getting anymore in till middle of july

Call a few more stores. Originally I was told the same, but within 24 hours I had a few stores tell me they were getting a few shipments before the middle of July. Like.. 1 a week, but in small numbers. You need to reserve one and get on a list just in case.
 
still waiting on mine to arrive have a bad feeling its going to be awhile :( i haven't called to get an update I pre-ordered last sunday traded in my xbox they said it would prob be only a week wait and it's almost a week now. ; <
 
Had my slim for a few days now....been playing Splinter Cell Conviction off the harddrive nonstop for the past couple of days....

and it froze on me already.....hope its not overheating....
 
Yeah I haven't played other games with it yet so I have no experience, hopefully its the game and not the console...

Probably is the game. I've heard numerous accounts of Conviction red ringing Xboxes and messing up optical drives/hard drives in weird ways. There are some fixes online as the above poster mentioned though.
